Dec 30, 2021 · I set the 'Aquastats' on the coal boiler to bring in the forced draft at 170 degrees F and out at 190 degrees F. The oil fired boiler is set to cut in at 140 degrees F and out at 160 degrees F. When I priced 1 1/4" and 1 1/2" copper pipe, I decided to go with black steel piping for the connections of the wood/coal boiler.
